About Us
Welcome to Franklins Friends Rescue! Learn about our mission, our story, and how we're making a difference in the lives of small animals in West Chicago, Illinois, and beyond. We're dedicated to finding homes and new beginnings for these small hearts.

Our Goal: New Beginnings
At Franklins Friends Rescue, our primary goal is simple: to find loving homes and new beginnings for small animals in need. We want to make a real difference in their lives by providing them with the care, attention, and safe environments they deserve. We strive to ensure that every animal that comes through our doors gets a chance at a happy and fulfilling life.

Our Story: Inspired by Atticus
Franklins Friends Rescue was born from a single act of compassion. Our founder was inspired by Atticus, a guinea pig found in a dumpster. This experience highlighted the need for a dedicated rescue focused on small animals, leading to the creation of Franklins Friends Rescue. Atticus's story fuels our commitment to helping other animals in similar situations.

Our Core Beliefs
We operate on three core beliefs: Saving Animals, educating the public about small animals and their care, and providing new beginnings for neglected or abandoned pets. These principles guide our actions and ensure we remain focused on our mission. From rescue and rehabilitation to adoption and education, everything we do reflects these values.
